Going to the internet
Jim Bailey, Golf News Publisher
Yes, Golf News looks different this month. We’re taking Golf News to the web.

A radical change? Yes, but only in the way we deliver it. Instead of paper, you’ll have a live and current Golf News that can’t be done on newsprint.

Your first question: why? Why take away the copy you picked up at your club, or your golf store?

The “best” answer? There are numerous things that have driven my decision on this. Cost is one: paper and postage are creeping upward. Getting it to you is another: we mail to outlets, and we can only hope they put out or paper, and in a prominent place. Timeliness is another: a monthly newspaper is timely for about two days.

There’s visibility, too. Golf News will always be at your fingertips. Instead of hunting down a copy at a club or a golf shop, you can find it right in your home or office on the internet.
